Welcome to the Montz Orchard!

Our pecan orchard is located in North Central Texas in the little farming community of Charlie, TX. This piece of land is located along the Red River on some of the richest pecan soil in the state with an abundance of irrigation well water.

As a young family, we decided to plant our pecan orchard in this location in 1987. We are not a large corporation, but our home office is exactly that - our home, located in the middle of our original 220 acre 8,000 trees pecan orchard. As a family, we have invested many hours into getting our pecan trees into production and turning our dream into a reality. Even today, Tim and Jake Montz continue to plant more and new varieties of papershell pecans. At last count, we are at just over 25,000 pecan trees on 500 acres located in North Texas.

We start harvesting pecans in October, and are able to ship our fresh, new crop pecans to you by late October. Our main varieties of pecans are the Pawnee, Wichita, Cheyenne and Choctaw. Whether you prefer them in the shell, cracked, or shelled, these pecans are the BEST in Texas!
